Description
Two World War I United States Army canvas cartridge belts with brass snaps inscribed with an eagle. Both belts can be adjusted for length. Probably used with the M1903 Magazine Rifle. A: Khaki brown belt with 9 pockets: "Mills / Patented Jan 28 '01 / Mar 28 '04 / Apr 18 '05 / May 21 '07 / July 16 '07 / July 30 '07." B: Khaki green belt with 10 pockets: "Mills / Pat Jan 29 1901 / Mar 29 1904 / Jul 16 1907."
