Image of a two-fold advertisement for John H. Purdy & Company, a supplier of jewelers' supplies and watch materials locate din Chicago, Illinois; image sof a spheric lamp, engraving block, and pendulum foot wheel on recto; watch glasses case and velvet boxes for watches and jewelry on verso.
Date supplied by cataloger based on company history; J. H. Purdy & Co. was located at 170 State Street from 1886-1891. "Thorn"--text, artist's signature, bottom right of image.
