Description: Some of the dragon boys of Bakersfield who helped Dr. K. S. Wong perform with the fifty-foot dragon of Los Angeles at a huge Chinese Rice Bowl Day held at Union Avenue Pavilion. It was Bakersfield's first sight of such a monster. Proceeds went for Chinese aid. Some of the boys were: Sam Woo, Don Ginn, Thomas Lee, Kay Suey Jue, Edward Jue, Harvy Gue Jr., Ray Lee, Delbert Wong, and Lawrance Leong. Photo date: December 6, 1939.
