Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated November 18, 1950 reads, "The body of a man identified as Ray Evans Golden, 8951 San Fernando Rd., lies in his car late today at the rear of a medical building at 4789 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood, as Humane Officer Bette Hilton leads away his faithful dog. Dog refused to leave scene, had to be pulled away on leash. Police identification of body was made through auto registration. Man's sudden death was believed natural."
