Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Olmo. Date: 1961-02-14. Assignment: Wrigley Field gets scrubbing. 69-70-71: Workmen tear down vines covering brick wall in outfield at Wrigley Field. On ground at left is Jim Williams, the Angels park superintendent. Pointing is Christy Duca, head of maintenance crew. On scaffold is Tom Lyerly and on ladder is August Johnson. 72-73: Workmen sandblast metal and brick fence and the Stadium preparatory to painting".
