A group of Mayan women, men and children attend a funeral service at a cemetery in Patzún, Chimaltenango. Many in the crowd are wearing colorful clothing and hats. The service was for a Mayan civilian who was allegedly killed by guerillaeros. Scattered throughout the cemetery are several small and colorful mausoleums. Un grupo de mujeres, hombres y niños mayas asisten a un servicio fúnebre en un cementerio de Patzún, Chimaltenango. Muchos entre la multitud llevan sombreros y ropa colorida. El servicio fue para un civil maya que presuntamente fue asesinado por guerrilleros. Dispersados por el cementerio se observan varios mausoleos pequeños y coloridos.
