Brown (United States Air Force). Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Sandusky. Date: 1952-06-29. Assignment: Flying Tigers reunion. D 19: General Claire Chennault places locket around neck of Joan Petach, naming her Sweetheart of Flying Tigers. Joan's father, John Petach, was killed in action flying with the Tigers before Joan was born. Mother was nurse with Tigers.
