Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on January 29, 1967 states: "Kings Beach at the north end of Lake Tahoe is said to be the only truly sand beach outside of Emerald Bay. It has been used by the public for years, but has fallen into neglect and is involved in a real estate controversy. A portion of the beach is sought by developers for a housing project."
