Description: Written on recto: "Photo by Giroux - Tucker Studio 3.21.23 Nurses of O'Connor Sanitarium San-Jose." O'Connor Sanitarium opened in 1889 at its original location of 15 acres at Race Street and West San Carlos Street.
Captured by Luna Imaging using Fujifilm Lanovia C-550 Scanner or Cambo 4x5 Camera with a Phase One PowerPhase FX Digital Back as a 762 dpi TIF image in 8-bit grayscale. Operating System during capture is Mac OS X Version 10.6.6. Image retouched with Adobe Photoshop CS3. Pixel size: 16735 x 6178. File size: 98.61 MB. Access copy compressed into JPG format using Irfanview Version 4.28.
