Photograph caption dated October 24, 1964 reads "Valley State's ace defensive back Jerry 'Birdlegs' Crawford is shown returning one of his four interceptions collected thus far this season. Crawford will be ball hawking tonight against the Long Beach State 49ers as Valley State meets LBSC at Monroe High at 8 p.m." Crawford is a student at San Fernando Valley State College.
