Description
Bill Feeney Sr. next to a gravity car at the Lee Street siding. Snow is on the ground. A native of New York City, Feeney moved to Mill Valley in 1919. He was a Pacific Telephone and Telegraph collections supervisor for Northern California. According to a September 1960 article in the Mill Valley Record, Feeney was lightheartedly considered a "sixth" member of the Mill Valley City Council for his near constant attendance at City Council meetings.
