Title supplied by cataloger. This 1937 Art Deco building, located at 5370 Wilshire Boulevard, was designed by Marcus P. Miller, and has been occupied by several businesses and restaurants, including a camera shop which closed in the early 1980s. Photographer's caption reads, "Arm in arm, on a winter morning, a couple stroll by the black vitrolite 35mm Argus camera facade of La Boca Restaurant. The full name is La Boca del Conga Room, Spanish translation: "The Mouth of the Conga Room." People go to La Boca for traditional food, with a "nuevo latino" touch, of South America, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Caribbean and then walk next door to The Conga Room for Latin music, dance, and drink. The La Boca/Conga Room structure was built in 1926 and, until the early 90's, was The Darkroom (1938) camera store."
