Photograph of a small herd of 112 milk cows belonging to R.C. Steele, manager of Chino Ranch, [s.d.]. They are behind a barbed wire fence close to a wooden post and rail fence. Several horse-drawn wagons bear various milking paraphernalia to the site -- including a large cylindrical vat and milk cans. Pastures are visible far into the distance. The shadow of the photographer is visible in the foreground.
