Description
Program titled "Program of Exercises at the Laying of the Corner Stone of the New Building." San Jose High School was rebuilt following the 1906 Earthquake. Dr. David Starr Jordan, president of Stanford University, was a guest speaker at this event. Program comprised of three pages; includes an illustration of the new school.

Master images scanned at 300 dpi and scaled to 6000 pixels on the longest side. Bit depth: grayscale at 8-bit; color at 24-bit. Images compressed to 800 pixels across the long dimension and to JPEG format. Scanning outsourced to Luna Imaging Inc. as part of an LSTA Grant funded by the California State Library in 2003-2004. Scanning hardware is unknown.
