View of a one-story Victorian cottage with a porch and a leafless tree in the front yard. Text written under photo: "Cottage at Santa Rosa where Detectives Lester Dorman and Miles Jackson were murded [sic] by members of the Spud Murphy [Howard Street] gang while the Detectives were trying to apprehend them to question relative to the assault on girls. 1920."
