Description
A ladies' auxiliary of a fraternal organization, many of them dressed in parade outfits, make their way along K Street near Tenth. Businesses along the route include Fox Senator Theatre (912 K Street), Capital Clothing Company (916 K Street), Schramm-Johnson Drugs (930 K Street), Auslender's Women's Clothing (1000 K Street), Watkin's Florist (1002 K Street), Grebitus Jewelers (1004 K Street), and Hotel Land (1106 Tenth Street). An Elks' Club flag is visible near the top of the photograph. The photographs were taken in 1934.
