Description
The caption on this photograph states that this is the "Old Nestor Company arriving in LA in 1911." Nestor Films was the first motion picture studion in Hollywood, founded by David Horseley. In this group shot, men and women pose for the camera. David Horseley is visible at extreme right in the foreground, with a cigarette in his hand. To his left, his son playfully aims a camera at the photographer.
