Description: Cyclist Bill Marquardt with his gear and bike, spending the night in Discovery Park. He was en route to Reno as part of a Bicentennial ride starting in Wichita Falls, KS, going around the world. He is recreating a trip taken in 1887 by Thomas Stevens and hopes to promote cycling, serve as a goodwill ambassador, and study other cultures.
