Description
Photograph of a view of the landscaped grounds of the Empire Mine in Grass Valley, ca.1910. A narrow dirt walkway is at center and terminates in front of a two-story building with ivy-covered walls. The walkway is lined with small bushes on both sides and a row of trees at left. More trees are visible in the distance and hide the large building from view. Another building can be seen in the background at right on the far side of a grassy field.
