Description
This is a photograph of two men at KWKW. According to local radio historian and broadcaster Cam Currier, when radio station KWKW first went on the air it was at 1430 and was daytime only. In the late '40s they moved to 1300 and relocated to 800 Sierra Madre Villa to get 1000 watts nighttime coverage. Currently the frequency 1300 is the Chinese language radio station KAZN in San Gabriel. The KWKW call letters have moved to Los Angeles on 1330 and is a Spanish language radio station. This was ordered by Curtis Publishing Company, which was located at 200 West Colorado Blvd. This is order number 1282.
