Annotation translation: "Mboko ndem - These women maintain the very worst customs. They have a special position in the village, are paid a lot of money, may not speak the village language until they have borne four children." Annotation: "Mboko ndem - Diese Frauen sind die Trägerinnen der schlimmsten Sitten, sie nehmen im Dorf eine besondere Stellung ein, werden teuer bezahlt, dürfen nicht die Dorfsprache sprechen, bis sie 4 Kindern das Leben geschenkt haben." Note: "Sie sprechen ihre eigene Sprache, die Mbondemsprache." (E-30-0,4). Note translation: "They speak their own language, the Mbondem language." (E-30-0,4).
