Description
A black and white wide shot of a destroyed tank, just behind a large, water-filled crater; in Cambrai France.
Tanks were first used extensively in WWI, but were largely ineffective due to their slow speed and inability to maneuver in the muddy, uneven terrain that typified trench warfare.
