Shows the D Street elevation. GNIS Geocoded 17 John Clark Lindsay was born in Scotland in 1852 and immigrated to the United States in 1870. He became a carpenter and after working in various northern California locales and on Vancouver Island, B.C., he moved with his family to Santa Rosa, Calif., where he became a prominent and prolific builder. His first and most notable project was the Fountaingrove Round Barn, later listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Lindsay died in 1927 Title supplied by cataloger. A full size copy of these plans and specifications are on file at the Annex in the Rare Book Room - Roll #43. Originals are on file at the Sonoma County Museum.
