Description
Photograph snipe dated October 20, 1971 reads, "Undersheriff William H. McCloud shows opening where Kenneth Como, a Manson Family member, squeezed his way to freedom during his escape from the Hall of Justice. Como manage[d] to squeeze through after cutting his way from his 13th floor cell. Como then forced open a window screen, lowered a blanket and sheet rope and climbed to the tenth story ledge."
