Photograph caption dated September 19, 1956 reads, "Newest move in the constant development of Panorama City area was the start of construction by West American Construction Co. of the Panorama Medical Arts Building at 8215 Van Nuys Blvd. Distinguished officials of the Southland attended the ceremonies of the groundbreaking. Left to right: H. B. Weinhold, leasing agent; Ephraim Baran, A.I.A. architect; Fred Rochlin, A.I.A. architect; Warren Dorn, mayor of Pasadena and supervisor-nominee; Leonard Muskin, representative of West American Construction Co.; R. E. Driscoll, vice president of Panorama City Chamber of Commerce, and Larry Alperin (kneeling), representative of West American Construction Co."
