Description
Photograph caption dated June 1, 1988 reads, "Magic Johnson airs his differences with Dallas defender Sam Perkins in Lakers' win that gave them a 3-2 lead in best-of-seven series. They never trailed after early 20-4 spurt turned 10-4 deficit into 24-14 lead. Game 6 win tomorrow in Dallas would put L.A. in finals." The Lakers lost the game in Houston on June 2, but won the last home game, as well as the entire series, on June 4.
