Merry-Go-Round in operation- Aug. 2, 1907. "There were spots in Eastern Nevada where it was necessary to build huge fills for the roadbed. This was one of them and the construction camp was located right next to the work. This was where the work became rough and demanding." From Gandydancers, pg 38.
