Description
White plate with green design, flowers around rim, in center the image of the Marconi Wireless Station and four towers. Under image: "Marconi Wireless Station, Wellfleet, Mass., the first wireless message from President Roosevelt to King Edward VII was sent from this station, Jan 19th, 1903." On back: Imported expressly for Everett I. Nye, Wellfleet, Mass., W. Adams & Co, estd 1697, England; French, Mitchell, Woodbury Co., Boston. (Made by North Staffordshire Pottery producer William Adams; imported by French, Mitchell, Woodbury Co.)
