Photograph of two men washing oranges from the Puente Hills orange groves, ca.1925. The oranges float through a shallow pool which washes over a conveyer belt at center as a man examines them by hand from the left. A second conveyer belt appears to extend from the ceiling on the left to the floor with dry oranges riding along it. A second man stands in overalls on the left of the second belt with a crate full of oranges in his gloved hands.
