Description
Photograph of night view of Chinatown, ca.1960-1969. In the extreme foreground at left, a small, decorative tower lined with rectangular windows can be seen. In the background at right, a small brick wall can be seen. A long, dead branch is visible leaning against the wall near a small, wooden model of a house. Further in the background, a large outdoor market can be seen. Several small booths line the center of the street, while larger commercial buildings can be seen in the extreme background. Groups of people stand near various booths. Alongside the buildings in the background, a large flagpole supporting a small flag can be seen. Although most signs are in Chinese, one sign to the far right reads: "Chinese Dinners".
