Description
The Sacramento riverfront was a lively spot in 1910 when this sepia-toned postcard was mailed from downtown. The stern-propelled paddlewheel boat and barge were only two of dozens of all type of craft that plied the Sacramento River transporting freight, fruit, passengers and produce to San Francisco and points north and south.
