Description: A rail line took passengers from Mountain Junction in Altadena to the Rubio Pavilion where the Cable Incline Railway was located. The Incline rails (seen here) went from Rubio Pavilion (the bottom) to Echo Mountain (at the top), a trip of nearly 3,000 feet, rising over 1,300 feet. We see a rail car to the left of the cable car at Rubio Pavilion. Passengers have changed cars and are ready to ascend the great Cable Incline.
