Description
"Parents: Your school house should have good ventilation, so that the air the children breathe will be pure, and good light for their eyes. The rooms should be warm and not crowded; there should be sufficient fire escapes, and decent toliet rooms. We have not got these things. Vote for School Bonds on March 16th, and enable the Bird Street School House to be converted into the handsome, up to date building showen on this postal. We must have additional school rooms at once the question is, how shall they be paid for? By a Bond Issue or By Direct Tax: Our bond plan will add twelve new, up-to-date, rooms and two Assembly Halls to the present school house and remove the unsanitary conditions existing, and the annual cost will be less than the average direct tax has been for several years. Board of Education. Oroville Grammar School.
