Designed by Reginald D. Johnson, Gordon B. Kaufmann, and Roland E. Coate, Jr., this Mediterranean-style villa was built in 1922; the landscape architect was Paul Thiene. Photo was published in an article in "California Southland" no. 91, May 1923, p. 16. Also published in "American Architect-Architectural Review", vol. 123, No. 2420, May 23, 1923, pp. 455-456, as well as in "California Southland" March 1925, pp. 23-26.
