Description
View of the machinery used in this plant in preparing salted almonds. The almonds are first blanched, then carried over the moving belt shown at the right, from which undesirable kernels are picked by hand. They then pass into the cooking and roasting device shown and are carried to the far end where they are packed, as shown in ohter photographs.
