Photograph caption dated May 25, 1963 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. John Legler, North Hollywood, were honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the American Lutheran Church in Burbank. The Leglers, Valley residents since 1948, were married in South Dakota. They have a daughter, Erma, North Hollywood, and a son, Ruben, who with his wife traveled from Milwaukee, Wis., for the occasion. An estimated 125 attended the event."
