Description: Exterior view of Hamburger's ornately decorated department store, at 8th Street and Broadway, built at an estimated cost of $2,000,000. Awnings cover the display windows on one side and cars are parked end to end at the curb. Originally known as People's Store, it was bought out by the May Company in 1923.
