Photograph article dated February 10, 1965 reads in part, "Pierce College can clinch at least a tie for a third successive Western State Conference basketball championship Thursday at Harbor following a close 68-65 win last night over visiting Compton College." Photograph caption reads, "Pierce's Stu Schreiber drives past Compton's Dave Buelow (52) to score two vital points for the Brahmas last night at Pierce. The Brahmas managed to squeeze out a 68-65 Western State Conference decision over Compton." Pierce Junior College is located in Woodland Hills, CA. Compton Community College is located in Compton, CA.
