Description
A group of ladies who appeared in old time costumes at a Monrovia Day party held on May 16, 1942. All are members of Pioneer families. L to R: Mrs. Belle Combs, in frock and bonnet over 100 years old. Miss Mary Vickers, in brown checked taffeta made in New Zealand 125 years ago. Mrs. L.E. Hotchkess, in black taffeta gown and bonnet 60 years old. Mrs. F.W. Burr, in lavender taffeta made for her grandmother 125 years ago.
