View of a native woman and two young children pounding grain, the older child scrapes the inside of a large wooden vessel and the woman holds aloft a thick long pole that is used as a pestle. Other containers sit around the area and behind them is a wattled fence. ❧ This image belongs to an album of photographs collected by Dr. Stevenson and includes images from India, China and Africa.
