Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Redondo Union High School, Redondo Beach, ca.1925. The tripartite romanesque building of the high school is shown at center from across the road. Two concrete walkways divided by a patch of greenery angles-in off the road and points towards the two-story central entrance, which is framed by ionic columns. This central building is connected to the two other sections by covered corridors. These sections are both two stories in their own right and appear to be identical. They angle-in towards the center of the school's front courtyard. A web of utility-pole wires can be seen hanging above the street, and the back edge of an early automobile can be seen along the right edge of the image.
