Engraving of five figures from a Spanish ship, 1659, scanned from plate IIII (i.e. IV) in Sloane's A voyage to the islands Madera, Barbados, Nieves, S. Christophers and Jamaica, published in Paris by B.M. for the author in 1707. Engraved by M.V. de Gucht.
Figures: 1. Navis, prope Hispaniolam ann. Dom. 1659. Naufragium passae, asser, a clavo ferreo transfixus, corallio aspero candicante I.B. Obsitus, & a fundo maris anno 1687, expiscatus. 2. Nummus argenteus Hispanicus, cuj Lapis astroites innascitur eoduem naufragio expiscatus. 3. Nummus argenteus Hispanicus, substantia Lapidea incrustatus
