The occasion was the meeting of the Los Angeles County School Teachers' Institute held at the Normal School. Most of the women are in front of the men. The image includes: S. Waldron, Henry Gower, A.B. Coffman, Mary Gower, Olive Wilson, Superintendent J.W. Hinton, Hattie Gower.
