Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1889-1989 Pacoima's Bobby Chacon (left) never ducked an opponent or a punch. One of the gutsiest Mexican-American champs, the junior lightweight fought the best--including Danny "Little Red" Lopez. Ruben Olivares, and Alexis Arguello; the finale of Chacon's epic four-fight set with Rafael "Bazooka" Limon (shown here during their third fight) is remembered as one of the great brawls in boxing history. Like Quarry, Chacon absorbed much punishment in the ring and suffers from damage to the brain. Photo dated: March 22, 1980.
