Description
Connie and David begin the interview discussing how David, at a young age, came about taking pictures of a deceased Bugsy Siegel and how that led to an early career in photo journalism. They move on to talk about David’s career working for various newspapers and his trips to China, Eastern Europe, and Beirut. They proceed to reflect on David’s time at the University of Wyoming as an instructor of journalism before discussing the negative reaction to his coverage of a nudist colony, and his attempt to photograph Clark Gable, among other accounts. Connie and David move on to discuss David’s current life continuing as a foreign correspondent, and his upcoming trips to areas in the Pacific. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
