Jack Sprott of the Valley Division have earned for him consideration in the Valley Times Police Award of the Month. The sergeant, with more than 20 years of police work to his credit, was commended for leading the men in his charge through burning brush and for directing fire volunteers in the saving of a home during the recent Chatsworth fire."
