Photograph caption dated January 23, 1959 reads, "It was a confusing day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pies, 5758 Denny Ave., North Hollywood, when triplets Jeannette, Janet and Janice celebrated their seventh birthday. Janice doesn't give anyone any trouble as she is a fraternal triplet, but Janet and Jeannette are identical and when all dressed up in dresses alike seeing double is an easy matter. So, we thought we would start a few family arguments by printing three pictures of the girls with Janet, or is it Jeannette, on the left in two of them and Jeannette, or is it Janet, on the right in two of them. Janice is in the center in all photos. Can you match them? If you have to know for sure write us a letter. The triplets are the daughters of the late Lester Mortensen, Mrs. Pies' former husband. Mr. Mortensen passed away in 1956."
