Description
This story is the first hand account of Yukio Mochizuki, which describes a friend he knew from growing up in Seattle in the Japanese community. This neighborhood friend of his died in action as a volunteer member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. This friend's story was discovered as a human interest story on Page 91 of Conrat's "Executive Order 9066." Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
