French text recommending a new method of cultivating and trellising the vine. An 1847 edition of this work was listed in CooksBooks Catalogue 55 with more extensive pagination and folding plates which this edition lacks. This edition contains numerous in-text illustrations, and an appendix dealing with the history of viticulture in the Moselle region.
