Description
John Q. Citizen, who has a tough time trying to find a free parking space for his car in certain Los Angeles sections, particularly Downtown, today took heart as the city engineer's office, acting under police commission instructions, began a survey of red, yellow and white zones to see if they're all necessary. This photo-diagram shows how no space is available for regular parking on the east side of Broadway between First and Second streets. Arrow Drug Co, Lotus Coffee Shop and other other businesses are visible on Broadway where numerous Pacific Electric street tracks are present. Photograph dated: February 3, 1939.
